This week on the board, July 9

July 10, 2026 · 2 min read · By Andy at CPG Careers

Happy Friday. This week's board leans heavy on operations and manufacturing leadership, with a few strong commercial roles mixed in.

Quick interview advice. I was talking to a friend yesterday who went to offer for a role!! Exciting but in the process, she decided to call two other employers she was interviewing with and remove herself from contention. Never do this. Offers fall through at the last stage. Stay engaged until the offer letter is signed.

Here's what caught my attention this week.

Senior Co-Manufacturing Manager at Kettle & Fire. Location not specified. If you've built and managed external manufacturing networks for a growth-stage food brand, this is a strong seat. $150-170K.

Manufacturing Engineer at Kettle & Fire. Lancaster, PA. A hands-on plant role with a brand that's still scaling its internal production footprint alongside its co-man network.

Director, Innovation Insights at Constellation Brands. Chicago, IL. Sits at the intersection of consumer research and product development for one of the more disciplined innovation pipelines in beverage-alcohol.

Operations Manager at Golden State Foods. Miami, FL. GSF runs some of the most demanding foodservice supply operations in the country. Good ground for operators who want to work at real scale.

Director, Strategic Sourcing at Smithfield Foods. Smithfield, VA. Sourcing leadership at a protein company of this size means real category ownership and complex supplier relationships from day one.

Director of Sales, Central at OLIPOP. Remote, Central US. One of the more competitive commercial seats in functional beverage right now, covering a region where OLIPOP has significant retail momentum. $150-170K.

A few more worth a look, mostly at Tyson this week: PSM Coordinator in Portland, ME, Machine Operator in Temperanceville, VA, Accounting Administrator in Waterloo, IA, and a Burmese and Karen Interpreter role in Council Bluffs, IA. That last one is a good reminder of how much workforce diversity sits inside large protein plants.

Browse all roles on the board.

Until next week, Andy
