Terms of Use

CPG Careers Terms of Use

Effective May 29, 2026

CPG Careers is a curated job board for the consumer packaged goods and food and beverage industry. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cpgcareer.com (the "Site") and the services we provide through it (together, the "Service"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

CPG Careers is operated by High Altitude Partners, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). High Altitude Partners is also an executive search firm serving the CPG and food and beverage industry. CPG Careers is operated as an editorially independent product. High Altitude Partners does not see candidate applications submitted through CPG Careers and does not influence which listings are accepted or how they are presented.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms (on your own behalf or on behalf of the organization you represent).

3. The Service, in plain English

CPG Careers lets employers post job listings and candidates browse and apply to them. Employers can buy a single listing or subscribe to an unlimited monthly plan. Candidates use the Site for free. We curate listings editorially and reserve the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove any listing for any reason.

We are not an employer. We do not place candidates. We do not guarantee that any employer will respond to an applicant, that any candidate will be hired, or that any listing is accurate or current.

4. Accounts

Candidates do not need an account to use the Site. Employers do not need an account to post a single listing. Administrative accounts (used by our team) are restricted and require email verification. If we offer employer accounts in the future, you will be responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. Notify us immediately at andy@highaltitudepartners.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Posting a job

When you post a job, you represent and warrant that:

  • The role is real, open, and intended to be filled.
  • You have the authority to post the role on behalf of the hiring organization.
  • The information in the listing is accurate and current.
  • The role complies with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and pay transparency laws.
  • The role is a bona fide employment opportunity, not a multi-level marketing scheme, franchise pitch, commission-only sales role without a stated product or service, dating or adult work, or any other arrangement that requires payment from candidates.
  • You will not post duplicate listings for the same role and will not use the Site to harvest candidate data or send unsolicited messages.

We reserve the right to edit, remove, or refuse any listing at any time, with or without notice, including listings that we determine fall outside the editorial scope of the Site (for example, roles that are not in CPG or food and beverage).

6. Pay transparency

Colorado, several other states, and a number of cities require employers to disclose compensation ranges in job postings. We strongly encourage every listing on CPG Careers to disclose a salary range. To the extent your role is subject to any pay transparency law (because of where the role is based, where the successful candidate may reside, or any other reason), you are solely responsible for compliance. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, penalty, or proceeding arising from your failure to comply with any pay transparency law.

7. Payments and refunds

One-time listings and renewals are sold as single charges through Stripe. Unlimited plans are sold as monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide.

Refund policy.

  • Before a listing goes live: if you have purchased a one-time listing but it has not yet been published (for example, you have not yet verified the recipient email), you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing andy@highaltitudepartners.com.
  • After a listing goes live: we do not offer refunds for listings that have been published, because the promotion and reach you paid for has already begun.
  • Unlimited subscriptions: you can cancel at any time and your plan will not renew the following month. We do not pro-rate or refund the current months charge once it has been billed. Listings created during a paid subscription month remain live for their normal 60-day window even after the subscription ends.
  • Renewals: are non-refundable once applied.

8. Applying for a job

When you submit an application through the Site, you agree that:

  • The information you provide (including your name, contact details, resume, and any other materials) is accurate and is yours to share.
  • We will forward your application to the employer who posted the role. We may also retain your application for our records and to help the employer follow up.
  • We do not sell candidate data. We do not share applications with other employers without your consent.

Employers who receive applications through the Site agree to use that information only to evaluate the candidate for the role applied for, to keep it confidential, and to comply with all applicable privacy and employment laws. Employers may not sell, share, or use candidate information for any unrelated purpose.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory.
  • Impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically harvest content from the Site (including candidate or company information) by any automated means.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code or underlying systems of the Site.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Site or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or phishing attempts.
  • Circumvent any feature designed to limit access, restrict content, or enforce these Terms.

10. Editorial control and removal

We curate the Site editorially. We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, reject, edit, remove, or refuse to publish any listing, profile, comment, or other content for any reason or no reason. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so. We may also suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos, and editorial content (collectively, our "Content"), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by US and international intellectual property laws. You may view the Content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our Content for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

When you post a listing, application, or other content to the Site, you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, modify (for formatting), and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Site. This license ends when you or we remove the content, except that we may retain copies for recordkeeping, legal compliance, and to enforce these Terms.

12. Copyright and the DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes a copyright you own, send a notice that complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to andy@highaltitudepartners.com. Your notice should include:

  • Your contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  • The URL or other location of the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owners behalf.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

13. Third-party services and links

The Site uses third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and storage), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (security and spam protection). The Site may also link to third-party websites (for example, an employers own application page). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, practices, or terms.

14. Disclaimers

The Site and all content and services on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant or represent the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, application, or other user-submitted content. We are not an employer and make no representations about any employer or candidate using the Site.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall High Altitude Partners, LLC, its officers, members, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Site or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless High Altitude Partners, LLC and its officers, members, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) any content you submit; (c) your breach of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (e) for employers, any claim relating to a role you posted, a candidate you hired or chose not to hire, or your compliance with any employment law (including pay transparency laws).

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, post a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law).

20. Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a sale of our business or otherwise.
